Design templates	PowerPoint 97 includes more than 30 new designs to apply to slides, including 10 templates with preset animations.
Clip Gallery	The new Clip Gallery stores more than simple graphics - it organizes sounds, movies, and pictures in one convenient location for easy creation of multimedia presentations.
New chart types	Additional 3-D and 2-D chart types provide more options for better visual representation of data. Bubble, pie-of-pie, and bar-of-pie charts allow users to add another dimension to their data to help their audience interpret data instantly.
Animation effects	PowerPoint 97 includes new animation effects for text and objects, such as spiral, swivel, zoom in and out, and crawl.
Pack and Go Wizard	This wizard packs all the files needed for a presentation into a compressed, self-extracting file on multiple floppy disks for delivery on the road. Users can even include a PowerPoint Viewer for recipients who do not have PowerPoint.
