CRW4048 writes a 650 MB CD-R disc in about 3 minutes. The CRW4048 is an ideal all-in-one solution for reading CD's, copying audio/software CD's, creating photo/audio/video CD's, or acting as a storage drive for archiving or backup. The drive comes complete with everything you need to make CD's right away, including bundled software and blank CDs.   • Just Link™ technology overcomes many of the issues in 12x and higher writing speeds to CDs. Since the user's computer may be interrupted for other tasks, CD writing is often interrupted, and the CD write buffer depletes itself. JustLink™ technology can prevent under-runs by predicting when they may occur and then taking control of the writing process, intentionally interrupting the write cycle until the buffer refills and writing can resume exactly where it left off, hence the name Just Link™. Just Link™ technology minimizes the write gap to only 2 microns.
  • Just Speed Technology:
  • JustSpeed™ is the function that prevents writing error when high writing speed (16x or faster) is selected. When "Just Speed" is ON, the drive decides the most appropriate writing speed according to the result of medium calibration and writes with the speed. This function is changeable in "mode select command", and the default setting is "Just Speed" is ON.
  • Speed Boost Function:
  • AOpen's CRW4048 CD/ReWriter drive offers "Speed Boost Function". Pls Keeping Push Eject Button for over 5 second, then the busy indicator LED will flash two times. The CD reading speed will decrease from 40X to 48X.Thus will reduce our driver's Noise and Vibration.
