NHL 99 is the
very best looking PC sports game of any kind!. The
graphics bar has been raised a notch from last year,
which is hard to believe considering 98's excellent
look. Players are less blocky and the animations
flow more smoothly and in a more realistic manner.
Reflections off the ice are incredibly detailed, and
chips of ice now fly into the air when players cut into
it with their blades. Animations were motion captured
(of course) from an assortment of NHL talent!!
