Mr. Freud, You Are Right, We Are A Sick Species

by: stuker1  (Wed Mar 15 '00)

Pros:  Healthy form of stress relief
Cons:  I am addicted, I can't stop!!!

Just when you thought that you have seen everything: this game exposes an elderly woman being hit by a car while screaming for your pity, "I was in the war!"
The object of this game is simple, first take your "How to Drive" manual that you used to take the road test, secondly you must disobey everything you learned in it. The game has a setup that makes you need to kill pedestrians to earn time. With this time, you use it to beat the **** out of the competition of the race (except the fact that nobody really races, people just drive around mercilessly killing pedestrians). You also get time bonuses from doing damage to others cars. It is like a demolition derby, with people. While playing this game you have to openly acknowledge the fact that you are a sick human being, because you cannot justify anything about this game. I realized that fact when I decapitated a monk (in the Splat Pack). The Splat Pack is an extension of this game: it gives new tracks and new cars (as if you didn't get enough violence).
The irony of this game is that it makes me more normal. Venting anger is a healthy form of stress relief. This game makes me feel less tense. I have the mentality: "Well, I just killed about 2000 people, and wrecked about 10 cars, I think that I am done with my aggression for the day."
