Product Requirements
  • For the voice capability to work properly, you must connect the internal voice cable from the modem's 4-pin connector to the sound card's 4-pin TAD/Modem line in.  For motherboards with built-in sound cards, you must attach the modem voice cable to the motherboard's TAD/Modem line in connector.
  • Windows drivers automatically install and configure the modem for maximum performance
  • Communicates with virtually any modem or fax device (Windows based or not)
  • Driver installation for Win9x:
    * Installation based on Win98SE*
    1. Download the driver and extract it to a subdirectory.
    2. Windows will detect the card as a PnP device, if not go to Device Manager and remove any modem related devices with a yellow exclamation mark.
    3. During card detection and drive installation, Windows will ask you for the driver location.
    4. Point to the subfolder where you have extracted the driver files you have downloaded.
    5. Just follow the installation process and reboot for the changes to take affect.
  • Driver installation for WinNT4:
    * Latest Service Pack must be installed prior to video driver installation*
    1. Download the driver and extract it to a subdirectory.
    2. Run the setup.exe file and follow the installation process.
  • Driver installation for Win2000:
    1. Download the driver and extract it to a subdirectory.
    2. Windows will detect the card as a PnP device, if not go to Device Manager and remove any modem related devices with a yellow exclamation mark.
    3. During card detection and drive installation, Windows will ask you for the driver location.
