There's a
reason your photos printed on ordinary office paper come
out looking washed out and lifeless. Ink tends to
"bleed" into the rough surface of ordinary
office paper. As it spreads, the ink becomes more
transparent, resulting in flat, muddy color. Inkjet paper on the other hand is
specially coated, glossy paper that is specifically
designed for use in inkjet printers. Its glossy surface
tends to "hold" the ink in place, creating
brighter, more saturated color, and greater image
detail.
Inkjet paper also has a pure white
(rather than grayish) base, which improves contrast and
saturation.
Quality inkjet paper is a good investment
because it plays a major role in the quality of the
final image!! |
